My aim is to make small unique finely finished and polished indoor and tabletop assemblage sculptures from ‘found’ and salvaged objects. I love the contrast of polished brass and copper against rust and patina that can be found in the assemblages. Some pieces have a distinct industrial look and feel.
I tend to name pieces to reflect the form and/or the history of the objects that went into the construction.
From time to time I create series of pieces I call Light Catchers. These are so named because the usually include vintage lead crystals that catch the light and then break it into fragments and rainbows.
